Hunting is practised in Namibia. It includes trophy hunting but also safaris. You should know that the hunting season takes place from February 1st to November 30th. It is obviously forbidden to hunt within protected areas and it is necessary to have a written authorization from the land owner in order to obtain a hunting permit. Longbow hunting has been authorised since 1997.
