Grande Terre - The Roche Percée road Not to be confused with its Quebecois namesake, the Roche Percée is a great place for a pleasant coastal stroll. © Matthieu Colin
The Roche Percée Road goes all along the coast. Not far from Bourail, you will see a cliff cut through by the sea. All along this road, you can see several holes in the rocks shaped by the sea, which whistle as waves and wind pass through them, as well as an entirely natural tunnel. Follow on until Baie des Tortues which has a very beautiful beach lined with Cook pines.
