The Isle of Pines - Wildlife The Isle of Pines - Wildlife 'The closest island to paradise', as it is known, is notably renowned for its rich lagoons. © Ariel Fuchs

To observe the birds, go on a tour to the Bayonnaise islet located off the island of Kuto. This fully preserved piece of land is the habitat of frigates and terns. If you get bored of watching them, you can always take a dip into the lagoon and meet the clown-fish swimming on a bed of anemones and giant gorgonia.
