Located in the north-east of the island, the site of La Roche is impressive because it stands at the foot of a 300 ft high coral rock. If you climb to the top of these rocks lead by a guide, you will discover the remains of ancient fortifications. Close to La Roche, you can also see Hnaened's pile of lithic rocks. This heap of coral blocks dates back to the 5th century and its purpose was originally a defensive one.
