The climate is temperate. The seasons are opposite to British ones. The hotter months go from December to February (19 °C) and the cooler months, from June to August (9 °C). In April, expect average temperatures of about 15 °C and 13 °C in October. The temperatures will be lower than these if you go higher in altitude. As for the rain, it is spread out throughout the year, and the weather is particularly unsettled in the South. The most favourable time for tourism goes from September to April.
