23/05/2012 Due to a slump in the number of inbound tourists, partly caused by the string Australian dollar, flights to Ayres Rock, one of Australia's most famous landmarks, are to be cut. National airline, Qantas, will be reducing it's the frequency of its Uluru-Cairns service from 14 flights a week to seven, while flights to and from Perth will be halved from four to two per week before being suspended altogether from the end of October.
