Once again VisitDenmark is offering the chance for two families and four couples to win one of six themed holidays where they will 'test' different aspects of a destination and then record their thoughts in a video to be published on the organisation's website. The lucky winners will be required to review the activities, transportation and accommodation on offer in their chosen destination.
On offer are three rural breaks and three city breaks. The Viking family holiday comprises a three-night stay at the Ribe Byferie holiday centre in one of Denmark's oldest and character-filled cities which celebrates its 1,300th anniversary this year. A stay on the island of Fanø, South Jutland, follows the stay in Ribe. This break is a self-drive affair and includes a ferry crossing between Harwich and Esbjerg. Next up is a seaside camping holiday during the August school holidays, however you must be able to provide your own tent, caravan and other equipment. Then, in June, a self-drive touring holiday is planned in the Danish countryside, with accommodation provided in 'kro', typical inns found all over the country.
There are two trips to the capital Copenhagen: one during the jazz festival in July and another one focusing on the green and sustainable side of the city where winners will be asked to test out its environmental credentials. A third city break is up for grabs in Aalborg, the third city in Denmark. Despite its size it has more bars and restaurants per head than any other of the country's cities. For this last break flights from London will be provided as well as two nights' B1B accommodation.
For your chance to win the chance to be a guinea pig for VisitDenmark, simply fill out the application form on the tourist board's website.
