Chocolate week is here again and this year's events will be taking place all over the country on 8-14 October. This week "promotes fine flavour chocolate - celebrating the work of top chocolatiers and chocolate companies".
Events include chocolate tastings lead by chocolatier 'Hotel Chocolat', where you can learn about the type of cocoa, terroir and conching time (the process that makes the chocolate smooth instead of gritty). There will be many chocolate tastings held by chocolatiers all over the country, as well as special offers such as £1 luxury hot chocolate at selected locations.
Chocolate week has also encouraged special partnerships, such as those between chocolatiers and cocktail makers who will be hosting 'Choc tales from Dean Street' in Soho, London.
The week's finale sees the best international chocolatiers and chocolate companies join forces at 'chocolate unwrapped' - a two day fair in Covent Garden, where visitors can learn more about chocolate tasting and meet some of the world's finest chocolatiers.
