The annual Post Office City Costs Barometer has been published, revealing the best destinatinations for value. According to the research, Tallinn, Estonian capital, is the only eurozone capital to feature in the top five, which is dominated by Eastern Europe's capitals such as Riga (Latvia), Budapest (Hungary), Prague (Czech Republic) and Belfast (Ireland).
Riga came top out of 23 cities as cheapest city for meals, drinks, sightseeing, travel and accommodation for the second year running. The Hungarian capital was found to be the cheapest when it comes to accommodation, whereas Riga, Tallinn and Belfast offer the cehapest three-star accommodation (using prices from Hotels.com).
Swedish capital, Stockholm remains the most expensive for accommodation.
