The train operator between the UK and continental Europe, Eurostar, has created a new interactive on-line tool to help passengers create their own itineraries and make the most of their time in the cities of Paris and London. Available in English, French and Flemish, it suggests hotels, restaurants, bars, activities and sights to travellers whether they are visiting the famous capitals for the very first time or they are regular Channel-hoppers. With the new programme travellers can mix and match holiday ideas chosen by experts on the destinations to create their very own personal itinerary which can then be printed out with a handy map as well as all the essential information needed for the trip. If you are not sure what it is you want to do then Trip Planner has some sample itineraries for you to try out.
Eurostar's Commercial Director, Nick Mercer commented: "On 14 November, we will be celebrating our 15th anniversary. Over the years, we have built an in-depth knowledge of the destinations we serve and we wanted to create a tool which would give us the opportunity to share this with our travellers. When time and money are precious, it is important that our travellers have the best destination information available. Trip planner helps to enhance the holiday experience for leisure visitors and will enable business people to maximise on the unexpected free time they may have when meetings finish early or they need to find appropriate venue for a meeting or meal at short notice."
