New flight routes from London Heathrow and Manchester airports to Perth have been launched by Qatar Airways. The new path is the quickest to from the UK to Australia, taking just over 19 hours. The service is set to improve the efficiency of travel Down Under for British holiday-goers.
Initially the flight will leave Heathrow and Manchester three times a week. However, the service will increase to daily take-offs from November 2012, making it more flexible for those journeying to the Australian west coast. Likewise, with departures from both London and Manchester, Britons from the north and the south will have easy access to the new service.
Passengers are set to enjoy exceptional comfort during the 19 hour transit; the advanced carrier will offer fine dining and a range of more than 1,000 in-flight audio and video amusements. An economy fare starts at £785pp and business fares are from £2,625pp.
