French and US reduce ski costs

French and US reduce ski costs 12/10/2009

After a 13% drop in British holiday-makers taking a ski break, French and American ski resorts are having to reduce the cost of ski passes and ski equipment hire. For example in Courchevel, France and Vail in the US, prices are down by 11% according to the Post Office Ski Resort Survey. Eastern European countries, such as Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Slovenia, still promise to be the cheapest for ski holidays despite prices being on the rise. The Post Office found that a lift pass and ski hire is cheapest in Borovets, Bulgaria at £223. here
