Fun fair festival in Düsseldorf this July

Düsseldorf is holding a large festival from 13 to 22 July, called the 'Grosste Kirmes am Rhein' or the 'Biggest Fun Fair on the Rhine'. It is expected to attract over 400,000 visitors per day. The festival has been a tradition for over 100 years.

There will be 42 acres of tents, stalls and rides along the river, combined with a traditional beer festival, rollercoasters and German delicacies.

One of the festival's highlights is the huge firework display and parade, which will happen on 20 July.
