Harry Potter fans should clear their diaries for the end of 2014 and start saving up for a plane ticket to Osaka. Plans for a third Wizarding World of Harry Potter are in the pipeline for Universal Studios in Japan's second city. The first theme park opened back in 2010 in Orlando, Florida and another is planned to open in 2016 in Los Angeles. The Asian version of the attraction will have a replica of Hogwarts Castle as well as rides including Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. President of Universal Studios Japan, Glenn Gumpel, commented: "Magical coming-of-age stories play very well in Japan, particularly when they're about the balance between ordinary life and something fantastical. We're already growing and expect we'll get millions more people once we launch Harry Potter. "
It is no surprise that Japan has been chosen for the next amusement park ? 78 million people have watched the film in Japanese cinemas.
