Jazz gets centre-stage at the Kitano

The Kitano Hotel in New York is a well-known hub for jazz music and the moment all fans have been waiting for with baited breath has finally come as the hotel unveils its new music venue. Renowned for hosting jazz artists from both ends of the spectrum in its mezzanine lounge, the hotel has finally inaugurated its dedicated venue: Jazz at Kitano. The exclusive club will be located in a historic townhouse adjacent to the hotel - the space will also work as a restaurant.

A classic touch will be retained, including 30-foot ceilings and mahogany walls. Upcoming artists include Barbara Carroll and Jay Leonhart, Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano as well as Australian bassist Nicki Parrott and her trio.
