Luxury hotelier, One&Only to open hotel in China 15/02/2012

One of the world's best luxury hoteliers, One&Only, is opening its first hotel in China.

The One&Only Sanya Hotel is due to open in 2014 on the island of Hainan. The 180-room and villa hotel will have its own private beach in Tufu Bay.

Sol Kerzner, chairman of Kerzner International, said that "Tufu Bay is ideally suited for creating the first One&Only experience in China. The setting is just spectacular and I am very confident the resort will be well received by our many loyal One&Only guests and new guests alike."

"It feels terrific to be able to make this announcement and get back to doing what we do best - designing and managing world-class luxury resorts."

The new addition will be One&Only's eighth following properties in the Maldives, Mauritius, Dubai, the Bahamas, Mexico and South Africa.
