Low-cost airline Ryanair has announced plans to increase the number of flights it offers between Kerry and London Stansted.

Instead of three return flights per week, the airline will up its service to a daily return flight, due to start from 7 November.

Ryanair already offers a daily return flight between Kerry and London Luton, so this service will offer those wanting to fly between the two cities a larger choice of flight dates and times.

Ryanair's sales and marketing manager for the UK, Ireland and Cyprus, Maria Macken, explained "This is great news for tourism in the South West as Londoners, keen to snap up good value hotel and golf breaks in the region, now have even more options when travelling to Kerry."

Kerry is an extremely popular destination with golfers, offering a range of 18- and nine-hole courses throughout the region. It is home to some of Ireland's most famous courses, including Dooks - one of the oldest links golf courses in the country - which gives players views over the Atlantic Ocean.
