Speed-dating flights from Jet2

The budget airline has announced the launch of two VIP 'speed-dating' flights on November 17 and 24 which will carry 100 singletons each to the traditional 'city of Romance'.

Upon arrival in Paris, these passengers will take part in a huge speed-dating session aboard a Bateaux Mouche as it makes its way along the Seine.

The most popular male and female amongst them will win a luxury five star holiday provided by Jet2, and as the airline points out, they may even meet their dream partner in the process.

Mario Falcone and Lucy Mecklenburgh from The Only Way is Essex will be on board the flight to provide tips on how to snare your date. However, given that their advice includes the recommendation that, '…sometimes the corniest line works. "Did you hurt yourself when you fell down to earth from heaven?" is a good one', perhaps it is best to stick with your own chat up lines.
