The year is divided into four different seasons, however, the continental climate in the north is very cold, almost Siberian in winter, and hot and humid in the summer (monsoon rain). Autumn is the best season. However, note that it does not last as long as in our latitudes: just from September to October. Average annual temperatures are from 8 to 12°C.
In Pyongyang, the temperatures are from - 3°C to - 13°C, in January, and go up to 29°C, in the month of July. In October, it is an average of 18°C in daytime, and the thermometer drops to 6°C at night.
