The Myohyang (myohyang means singular fragrance) mountains are decorated with gigantic characters to the glory of the "Great Leader" engraved in the rock itself. They have a circumference of 80 miles and can be visited along their valleys. That of Sanguin can be visited in a day on foot, and has a succession of waterfalls, ponds, pavilions and Buddhist hermitages. The Biron peak, which is 6,260 feet high, is accessible.
