Norway's oldest coastal express company is now an emblem of the country. Hurtigruten has been transporting goods, people, and post up and down the Norwegian coastline for nearly 120 years. It provides an excellent means of exploring off the beaten track and sailing in the country's most beautiful fjords, the Geiranger and the Lofoten. The most famous journey connects one of Norway's prettiest cities, Bergen, with Kirkenes, on the Russian border. The route takes you via North Cape and includes 34 stops.
