An independant portal, Easyvoyage is a dedicated travel website, offering editorial content and services to its users.
Its mission: to do everything it can to facilitate searches and therefore increase the choice for travellers.
How? Thanks to the content produced and maintained by our journalists and other teams, the best tour operator offers, search engines that compare 85% of the offers on the market, events and practical daily information and tests and ratings by our experts and clients.
Here is a table, a short description of our offer in relation to other comparison sites, with some links to familiarise yourself with us better.
Tell us what you think
When it concerns travel, our passion, we inevitably remain somewhat subjective. But we can be honest and exchange points of view.
That's what we do, more specifically through our double rating system of hotels and trips.
Both our experts and clients give their score on the site.
We are objective (or almost) because we are independent without necessarily being die-hard Gauls...
Easy Voyage generates its income from the 'clicking rate': we earn approximately 0.50 euros for every user that goes to one of our partners' sites.
We do not depend on the sales of trips, but on our ability to appeal to users and secure their loyalty by delivering the most relevant information.
Our success depends on your trust!
Since our debut, ten years ago now, we have wanted our site to be successful in offering all content and services: all countries, all results, nearly 100 marketers, etc.
Seaside holidays represent a predominant share of the tourism market. To respond to this demand, French operators offer 2400 hotels. 1800 of them have already been visited by the Easyvoyage teams. Therefore, we test 1000 hotels every year. We also apply the same demands regarding the selection of other products which we promote, all resulting from the offer of quasi-integrality; from French Tour Operators (TO).
We seek to be exhaustive: not for the sake of quantity, but in order to give maximum credibility to our choices.
Back to questionsEasyvoyage is a site created for people who love to travel, by people who love to travel, with written reports but also photographics of the tests and points of view which we create ourselves thanks to the permenant journalists in our team.
The core of our site is composed of 252 destination pages, with the aim of covering every country on the planet: 10,000 pages of content, 40,000 photos, 1,500 maps, as well as the reasons why one should go there and the most comprehensive database possible in terms of practical information...
Each hotel now has its expert and user ratings, in the same way that each destination has its good points and bad points, which we don't hide. Quite the contrary. On Easyvoyage, you will find some very good ratings and not so good ones...
Back to questionsThanks to our numerous partners, we track down the best deals which we update every day. Some real deals, but also some clever ideas with our comparison engines, to travel for the cheapest price possible, whether you are searching for an all-inclusive holiday, a tour, means of transport, a hotel or car rental.
You may not be aware, especially if you're not a regular visitor of the site, but every week we select an average of 100 bargains which are worth discovering.
Back to questions'Pure' holiday promoter cannot pretend to be a real travel guide. It can certainly suggest good destinations or top hotels, but without claiming all-inclusiveness.
When making a choice, it is worth considering the offers of several marketers...
That's what we do for you.
We are not therefore selling anything, but allowing you to access the offers in one or two clicks, guaranteeing their sincerity and professionalism, so that you may book and purchase online. Once on our partner's site, however, it's over to you.
Back to questionsDo you need a visa? Which currency is used? Do you need vaccinations before you leave? What sort of budget should you plan? What does the Foreign Office advise?
It may seem obvious, but it is vital that you do not forget: a trip is never prepared without considering the formalities.
In a few clicks, Easyvoyage gives you the essential information on a country, a town, a tour, etc. Our printable travel journal can easily be slipped into your bag or suitcase.
Back to questionsOne of the specialities of Easyvoyage is the fact that it visits all of the hotels offered on the British market. It is a precious aid for all users' decision-making before booking their holiday.
You will find this specific information on each hotel in the form of a detailed page, with assessments and photographs. Here again, there are no biased opinions. Our designation (rating + attribution of stars) is based on the European hotellerie charter which allows us to apply a British twist to all of the hotels in the world.
Every season, around 2 400 hotels are 'sold' in France. Every year we try to visit half of them in order to make sure we have the best and most up-to-date information.
Back to questionsA festival not to be missed? A surprise strike? A unique concert? A cyclone forecast? An original offer for tomorrow?
It's a truism: travelling concerns the whole planet... Yet the planet moves, both literally and figuratively.
Whether it be an agenda to update, good or bad news for travellers, we keep you up to date on the latest news thanks in particular to an agreement signed with the AFP (Agence France Presse).
Back to questionsWe launched a forum open to everyone's comments and experiences well before other sites dedicated to travel. It is a completely uncensored forum, on condition of course that rules of courtesy are respected.
As well as the forum, there is our weekly survey.
Not enough? That's why the site now gives you the chance to rate, and give your opinions on the hotels where you have stayed and the destinations that you know, especially when you chose them based on our advise...
And your texts? Your blogs? We've thought of that too. However we don't wish to sacrifice quality for quantity.
Back to questionsOn the 19 May 2008, Easyvoyage and the main comparison sites (Kelkoo, Shopping.com, Pangora, Leguide.com, Pricerunner, Voyagermoinscher) signed, under the aegis of Fevad (Federation of e-commerce and distance selling) and the Secretary of State responsible for prospective, Eric Besson, a professional ethics charter which guarantees, in 15 points, the openness and relevance of the information presented to the consumer.
The comparison of results and services, and their prices is one of the most dynamic sectors of electronic finance.
With this charter, member comparison sites intend to demonstrate their will to launch a series of professional ethical rules, in the form of voluntary commitments, founded on the principals of the consumers' openness, loyalty and respect. They thus hope to contribute to the reinforcement of confidence in information relating to prices and offers on the Internet.
