There are two seasons in Panama: dry season, from mid-December to mid-April (average temperatures in Panama City: 30 to 35 °C), and rain season, from mid-April to mid-December (average temperatures from 25 to 30 °C). In the centre, the mountain area seems to serve as protection from the coastal region's humidity, so it is cooler there. The best time to visit the country is dry season, however, even during the humid season, it seldom rains for a whole day. A few hours of rainfall is always followed by incredible moments of sunshine.
