Arequipa is nicknamed the white city because of the volcanic sillar rock illuminating the façades. Peru's second largest and qaintest city, along with Cuzco, it is located at the foot of the volcano Mount Misti. Here, you should not fail to visit to Santa Catalina monastery, a city within the city with blue patios, orange alleys and the atmosphere of another century.
