You won't be coming home without a jumper made of alpaca or lama wool. Warm colour materials are sold by the metre or as bags, ponchos, jackets, blankets, etc. In Puno, you will find superb carnival masks and in Ayacucho, decorated terra cotta ceramics. In Lima, markets abound in colonial-styled mirrors and frames.
Shops are open from 9/10 am to 12.30 pm and from 3/4 pm to 8 pm, from Monday to Friday. And from 9/10 am to 12.30 pm on Saturdays.
