  • The Nevado Huascarán

In the North of the country, the White cordillera was declared a Unesco world heritage site. From the city of Huaraz, you can see 23 of the snow-capped peaks, all of which tower at an altitude of more than 5,000 metres. The highest one is the impressive Huascarán (6,768 metres). In the region of millennial glaciers, do not miss the turquoise lakes such as the "Conococha lagoon" in the Huaylas valley.
