Other than its sandy beaches, the Visayan archipelago (comprising six islands, among them Cebu and Bohol) holds another of the country's treasures - the 'Chocolate Hills' on the island of Bohol - over 1000 small perfectly formed hills, lush green in the wet season and a milk chocolate brown in the dry season, hence their name. No one knows how they came to be like that, but they continue to draw tourists year after year.
