The climate is temperate continental. Winters are long and cold and can, drop to - 30 °C and summers are hot, with temperatures sometimes reaching 40 °C.
The two best times to visit Poland are spring and autumn, as the temperatures are mild and there are fine sunny days (it is best to avoid the summer crowds). If you choose to go in the winter though, you will be able to visit the towns and get a real taste of the special atmosphere in snowy Poland.
