The region of the Baltic Sea, where most tourists go, is located by Gdansk. Sopot, a seaside resort dating back to the second half of the 19th century, will charm you with its quaint, old-fashioned atmosphere, and its casino and promenade along the pier. In contrast, Gdynia is a recently built town and the country's second largest port.
