We have tested: 12 Hotels Madeira

Of a volcanic origin, the archipelago of Madeira is a true paradise for hikers hungry for wild landscapes. Its multiple levadas, the island's network of irrigation canals, offer unforgettable strolls through tunnels dug into the mountains and along lost paths in the forest. Its subtropical climate allows the island to enjoy mild temperatures all year round. This has allowed Funchal and its surroundings to welcome a large hotel park. For miles of sandy beaches, Porto Santo is the place to head. The island is still untouched by mass tourism, only a few hotels having set up shop.
