The town of Obidos is a museum in itself. A medieval town surrounded by ramparts, it can be visited on foot, allowing you to relax and let yourself wander around casually between the white-washed houses. From the rampart walk, you will get a pleasant view of the jagged tiled-roofs. You should also see Santa Maria's church and the castle, which has been turned into a Pousada.
