In Alentejo, south of Lisbon, the coastline starts to looking more 'Mediterranean'. The deep blue sea is warmer and the tall sand dunes give way to cliffs near Cape Saint Vincent, the westernmost point of the Algarve. Near Setubal, the Serra da Arrabida has carved sea caves out of its cliffs.
