Beat blood circulation problems

Travel advice

Staying seated for hours on end is no laughing matter, especially with bad blood circulation, which can be very painful. It can also be dangerous as long periods of immobility can lead to blood clotting. In order to help make a long-haul flight more comfortable, there are several things that you can do:

- Ask your chemist for special blood-stimulating socks
- Avoid all fizzy and sugary drinks
- Stay hydrated and drink lots of water throughout the flight
- There are also little exercises that you can do such as turning your wrists and ankles for a series of 40 throughout the flight
- Stretch regularly
- Take regular walks through the isles
