At a time of the year when travel is most frequent, it is important to know who to call in case of an emergency. A website has been created to help holiday makers all over the world: SOS1.tel. This site allows holiday makers to access emergency services from the country they are holidaying in. Police, fire brigade, emergency medical services...etc. SOS1.tel lists over 400 emergency services in three languages: English, French and Spanish. And it couldn't be simpler and faster to use: SOS1 > Click on continent you are in > country > select the emergency number you need. Before leaving home, save the site address in your phone if you have internet access or make a note of the emergency services you could need just in case.

Another great site from the same company, is Cancel.tel, which lists all the numbers you need to cancel your credit cards. Find the relevant local office for your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover) and make the process of cancelling your cards quicker. Spend less time worrying about your bank account, and more time enjoying your holiday!
