When observing a map of the world you can hardly distinguish this small dot at the far end of the Indian Ocean. Reunion is off course a small island by its size yet surprising by the diversity of its relief and landscapes. Born out of a volcano (Piton de la Fournaise), that broke through the surface of the Indian Ocean 3 million years ago, the island was soon to become a small paradise. Nowadays its relief give you the opportunity of enjoying a seaside holiday at the same time as mountain hiking. Observed from the sky the contrast is even more stunning: minute by minute, the landscapes change at a spectacular rhythm.
