Sports in Réunion - Reunion

Taking off from a sugar cane field with a paraglider is a highly technical operation. Yet once you have taken off, the joy is indescribable. The colours and silence that accompany you along this sky high jaunt enhance the tortured landscape with its lava flows kissing the sea. The hot air currents take you even higher and the island offers new landscapes still. But what goes up must come down although thankfully the beach is there to soften the blow.
