Iceland is full of various cascades and waterfalls. Born from the heart of the earth right at the heart of nature, these waterfalls are worth a visit just for their pure natural strength. We are talking here of the Seljalandsfoss falls, at the entrance of Thorsmörk Natural Park It is a some 65 metres high waterfall, a column of water springing out of the cliffs in an aquatic uproar. The interesting aspect of this waterfall is found in the possibility of walking round the falls thanks to a natural way due to the erosion of the rock. Another cascade, found in the Icelandic gold circle is also worth the trip. It is the golden cascade of Gulfoss, meaning "gold fall" in Icelandic. It is an immense cascade composed of two levels: the 21 metre inferior fall and the 11 metres superior fall. Surrounded by magnificent rainbows, this waterfall is one of the most beautiful in Iceland. Text and Photography: Julien Nessi.
