Lost in the middle of Manhattan, Central Park is not only the green lung of the city and its inhabitants. Over its 340 hectares live an unexpected fauna and flora. The ornithologists rush here during the great migrations to admire the Blue Jay, the Cardinal, the dove, Baltimore Oriole or the Redbird. Not forgetting the monarchs, those butterflies that cross the whole North America to go and reproduce in the forests of Mexico. More simply, you can enjoy walks, practise all kinds of sport, listen to concerts, go to the zoo or go and meditate in Strawberry Fields, the Peace garden created by Yoko Ono in memory of her husband John Lennon, murdered not far from there.
