Special feature United States, New York : Dog walkers

Dog walkers

Upper East Side, profession dog walker : Tim is a "dog walker": he walks dogs. He works every morning from 7 to 8 am and every afternoon from 5 to 6pm. He works in the chic area of Park Avenue, where rich people don't have time, but money, to look after their favourite pets. It indeed costs them between 15 to 20$ an hour. The most difficult part of this job is to know which dog to associate to another to make an earning. It is impossible to just walk one dog at a time. So some times there are up to ten or twelve dogs pulling on their leads. From Pekin to Alsatian dogs, from the Setter to the Labrador, it's not always easy to get them to walk together. Generally once the group is constituted, it rarely changes. The dogs know each other and most of all very happy to run around. The only trouble in the whole story is the obligation to pick up any droppings. Otherwise, it's a 100$ fine !
