Taking a tour round the outside of the island in boat allows you to discover numerous constructions on the cliff edges. These could be churches whose paths of access are only known to the local older generation or troglodyte houses whose builders remain a mystery as do the techniques used to secure them to the cliffs. There are so many surprises which make this particular trip exciting. On the other side of the island, the contrast is striking: a lively atmosphere where the beaches attract families having come enjoy the sea and to lie in the sun.
