Now to the Triglav National Park: 323m² of forests, lakes and snow-capped mountain tops. The park consists of two valleys, those of Soca and Sava (named after the rivers which run through the valleys). Kanin, towards the Soca side, is ideal for expert skiers. At 2,300m high, Kanin is the highest ski resort in Slovenia. Guaranteed adrenaline for thrill-seekers on the numerous black pistes-you will find that there are twice as many difficult pistes as there are easy ones. On the Sava side, the most accessible resort is Kranjska Gora. There is a school of classes for novices and a good range of pistes from 'hills' (800m high) to pistes lying at 1,300m high.
