This small beach resort in the south of the island offers peace and quiet as well as a change of scenery. Far from the sometimes rowdy bustle of the west coast, the streets here are calm and pretty with well-kept houses and gardens. The limited number of restaurants, cafés and shops keeps the place calm and peaceful, which is great for families and couples who mostly prefer to go to the beach and then go to bed early. On the side of the lagoon, the black sand (of volcanic origin) is warmer under your feet in the day time and it even changes the colour of the sea. An exotic experience is guaranteed for kids and grown-ups alike!
