The towns of Reunion, which are spread out all around the island, all have very different appearances depending on which coast they are on. Those in the north of the island, located not far from Saint Denis, are rather industrial; those in the west resemble beach resorts; those in the south are tinged with tradition and as for the eastern ones, they live in perfect symbiosis at the foothill of the famous Piton de la Fournaise.
