Opinion This is a fairly typical motel sort of hotel that doesn't look that appealing from outside. The access to the rooms is also unattractive.
Advantages It suited us for a one night stay and the bar and outside pool area were very nice and offered food and a Happy Hour for drinks.
Disadvantages It was pretty basic and somewhat dated in the rooms and the corridors and stairways could have done with a but of a freshen up.
If you were not wanting anything luxurious this served well for a night's stay. The bar was pleasant and offered a Happy Hour and the outside pool area was very pleasant.
The room was clean but rather dated, a little dark but the bed was comfortable and we had a fridge and coffee maker provided. It served the purpose for an overnight stay but I am not sure I would want to spend a lot of time there.
This was just off a highway tucked almost under a cliff side. There was no garden and it really is a roadside motel sort of place.
There bar offered a good choice of bar type food in the evening and the breakfast was a buffet with a reasonable selection of cold and hot foods.
A lovely outside pool with decking and tables and chairs. there was a book exchange in the lobby as well as a display of local activities and attractions.
The bar was busy and had a lively atmosphere. the outside pool was really nice but other than that there was no entertainment at all but this was more of a motel really.
Good to know This is a handy place to stay if you plan on following the Great River road and it was really good value for a one nights stay.
