Kigali

Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, is a pretty little town nestled in the heart of a valley boasting an incredible variety of flowered trees. Unfortunately, the most part of the town was destroyed during the civil war. Most buildings are in ruins. It is not recommended to go out at night. You will however find many restaurants and hotels. It is in Kigali that you need to contact ORTPN (Rwandan office of tourism and national parks) located on Independence square, in order to book your access to the national parks.
