A contrasted and yet unique country, Saint-Martin displays a mosaic of incredibly beautiful landscapes. Its superb beaches (34 exactly) are among the most beautiful in the Caribbean. They are ideal for relaxation, diving and water sports. The coastline is just as charming as the other parts of the island. If you go to Saint-Martin, you will inevitably come back with your head full of wonderful memories. You will not only remember the coconut tree-lined white sandy beaches and superb turquoise-blue sea, but the island, with its sometimes dry climate, that enjoys a very lush vegetation, quite different from that found on the neighbouring islands. You will be enthralled by the sight of cacti, bougainvillea, hibiscus, Euphorbiaceae, Delonix regia, and poinsettias... for some years now, the island has focused its energies on eco-tourism, a different, more authentic form of holiday. All in all, there are 17 excursion routes that you can follow; these have been listed by local guides and would be a shame to miss if you want to discover the many historical and cultural sites on horseback or by bike. You will also get to meet the locals and live in the midst of unbelievable landscapes.
