Pic du Paradis Paradise Peak Somewhat proudly referred to as a 'peak', at 424m Paradise Peak is nevertheless high enough to boast views of the entire island. Vladimira Dvorakova / age fotostock;

The highest peak is Pic du Paradis at an altitude of 1378 ft. It is not very high, but you should go to the top and enjoy the magnificent panorama it offers. To the West, you will see the French Lowlands and the great lake Simsonbaai. To the North, the arid and hilly countryside, scattered with red-roofed houses and coconut trees, stretches to the beach and the eastern bay. Northbound still, you will see clearly the English island Anguilla.
