Life underwater Like many of the Caribbean islands, the seabed off Saint-Martin has beautiful corals and is home to a great deal of wildlife. To cap it all off, the water is both warm and clear! © Ariel Fuchs
Parrot fish, boxfish, mullets, angelfish, tunafish and wahoos are many specimens which you may encounter when diving off Saint Martin island. It is the rich plankton, close to the many corals, which attracts all this underwater wildlife. Groopers island, located between Saint Barthelemy and Saint Martin, is an ideal site for scuba diving. Actually; because it is only accessible when the weather is nice, it is a lot less busy.
