Savai'i

Savai'i island has kept some of its nature as it was on First Day. Traditional life is still flourishing, the village dwellers cultivate their fruit and vegetable fields and live in fales - large thatched roof houses, widely open on one of their sides. You can also go on a trip to the lava plateaus of the crater of Matavanu, looking much like an imaginary moon-like landscape.
