Our selection: Shop Shop of the week

Colette Paris

Colette Paris

Far from being another shop selling over-priced trendy products, Colette is one of those concept stores that you just have to visit when in Paris. By far more than just your ordinary boho-chic boutique laying claims to being the place to shop to stay on top of the latest fashion trends, Colette brims full of the latest designer street wear by high-profile brands like Comme les Garçons and Kitsuné as well as pieces by haute-couture designers Valentino and Jean-Paul Gaultier but with too many blockbuster clothing and accessory brands to name here, it's worth popping in to check it out for yourself.

Concept stores are know for the hefty prices attached to the merchandise on sale, but this contributes to the exclusive nature of the stock - however, even if you don't have the budget to splurge on the latest handbag signed Karl Lagerfeld, Colette has been Paris' trendy bunch's trend-setter and ultimate fad guide, so no need to splash the cash for a few tips on what's the latest on the Parisian scene!

Open in 1997 by Colette Rousseaux and her daughter Sarah Lerfel, the shop is located in the heart of Paris in the 1st arrondissement, the 700m² is split up into three floors and often has pop-up bars and restaurants as well as a number of select exhibitions and book signings.
